The ZOOM Story

Season 9 of "Shining Time Station" had Auditions for New Trains. But at the last minute, they cancelled it. A month later, Kate Taylor said she was creating a new Show for PBS. It was called Two Names, Pizza, and Ipad but WGBH revived a Beloved Show called "Zoom"  so the name was changed to "ZOOM" . In 1998, Auditions were held. In late 1998, ZOOM was renewed for Season 2. Auditions were in 1999. Season 2 had a Brand New Set. In 1999, ZOOM was renewed for Season 3. In 2000, Auditions were held. Season 3 introduced a Computer, the Back of the Logo, and a Game Floor. In 2001 Auditions were held for Season 4. New to the Set was the Computer's New Spot. So in 2002 Auditons were held for Season 5. In 2003, Auditions were held for Season 6. But in 2004, the Show had auditions for Season 7 being announced in 2003, the Show had tapings in 2004's June. In 2004, Auditions for Season 8 were announced and held in Two Days of 2005. Casting was Done but the Set was set for Season 8. On Febuary 14 (Valentines Day) 2005, WGBH announced that the Season 7 will be the Last Season due to Low Ratings. It was Bad News. A month Later, a Petiton was held on the Petiton Site. The Last ZOOM Season was April to May 2005. The misson for Season 7 was to a Limerick Inspired Play in the Last Episode. There was a Game called Broom Soccer. also A Shaving Cream Craft and They made a Flashlight. The Last scene was a 70's Flashback; a Cracker Whistle. And that was ZOOM's End
